Birth is a spiritual natural occurrence and we provide perinatal individuals the support needed to achieve a wholistic individualized tailored experience. Our prenatal meetings provide a foundation for transparent and clear communication to build a trusting understanding between our families and specialist. Our perinatal person is the priority in the equation of childbirth so it is essential that every perinatal individual knows and feels valued, respected, informed, and encouraged to exercise their own empowerment while learning to advocate for themselves and their family in an effective way.
Our postpartum care offering is pivotal because the parents are the root holding all of baby’s needs. Therefore our services exist to come alongside families to share, affirm, educate and advocate

The United States has the highest maternal mortality rate of any high-resource, high-income country. We believe that every perinatal person deserves to be cared for, and treated with honor, respect, dignity, and equity. Birthing persons should feel that they are heard, seen, empowered, and know that their lives and the lives of their babies are valued.
Cynthia has dedicated her energy and focus to creating an educational, trusting, unbiased, fully accepting space where every family expecting is supported the way they desire and need to be. Essential Doula Care Services LLC practices supporting and serving all birthing persons which is her heart's work and passion.
CERTIFIED PERINATAL/POSTPARTUM DOULA
Cynthia is a certified Perinatal/ Postpartum Doula and Reproductive Peer Counselor, Trained in Spinning Babies techniques, Certified HypnoBirthing educator and practices traditional indigenous postpartum care. She participates in continuous training with teaching organizations such as Active Birth Institute to stay current with maternal support practices and information. She has serviced dozens of perinatal individuals throughout Delaware Valley.
